Counseling may seem daunting at first, but it is my priority to help clients feel comfortable and safe as they move at their own pace. I strongly believe my clients are not defined by their mental health symptoms and that anyone is capable of finding the personal power to meet their goals. In therapy, I do not take a “one size fits all” approach, and I often use existential, experiential, and explorative methods to help clients create change. In every case, my office is a safe space where all are welcome to be their authentic selves without fear of judgement.

It’s important to me that therapy is a safe place where clients can show up as their authentic selves and leave feeling seen, heard, and understood. We will work together to build the skills and supports that empower you to live a life that makes sense for you. Pema Chodron explains how I experience the therapeutic process, “Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.” Taking the steps to seek out a therapist requires a lot of courage and you should be proud of yourself for making the effort to do so. I know how difficult and tiring it can be to start this process so if you feel that I would be a good fit for you, then please reach out to me and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

I know how difficult it can be to start therapy, so it is incredibly important to me to spend the time to work with clients to build a space of trust, authenticity, and acceptance.
